Development Projects

Developing industries and upskilling workforce is what we aim to do and so we have created a number of projects from scratch to advance their development. We are also supporting existing projects in the country to help them achieve their goals.

SPORTS CENTRE

When you think of Eritrea and sports; athletics and cycling probably come to mind. Eritrea has a rich history in both, having competed at international levels, winning an Olympic medal in one and multiple awards for the latter. Going around Eritrea however, it is easy to see the popularity and passion for other sports. Through this project we want to help develop the sports industry across the country, boosting grassroots development programs and providing essential infrastructure that will help create and nurture Eritrea's future athletes and at the same time provide a place for people to go and have fun with friends!

Why?

​The implementation of sports centres across the country would greatly advance developments in grassroots sports programmes.

It would help create a fitter and healthier country.  

It would help raise awareness of disabilities as well as provide infrastructure and training for them.

And from a sports perspective, it will help us identify and create future Eritrean Olympians!

Inclusivity

​We believe Sports to be one of the best forms of bringing people together and breaking stigmas.

​

As part of the creation of the centre, we will be introducing new sports for disabled persons and people with Intellectual Development Disabilities (IDD). By providing the right training, we will be able to promote awareness of IDD and also create the next generation of Intellectual Development Disability (IDD) Athletes that will represent Eritrea at the future Special Games.
