Project Description
The St. Anne Nuns are an amazing group of people that have many initiatives going on throughout the country. One of the many is an initiative which looks at empowering young women in the country. The nuns run classes for woman, teaching them skills such as sewing, hairdressing and have helped many women into employment.
As time has gone on class sizes have dwindled but the energy and passion is still there from the nuns to empower woman and give them skills to become employable.
We’re looking for women across the diaspora to come and run different types of workshops, courses and social initiatives with women here.
Role Description
The ideal candidates would be women that have run women empowerment projects before. We’d like the candidate to come in and run some workshops, train our trainers so that they can then retrain their own staff and ultimately go out to the wider communities and up-skill and empower women.
